After the Wedding: Your Photo Delivery & Gallery Guide
Once the cake is eaten and the dress is packed away, the excitement moves to one thing: the photos. Your wedding gallery is the final chapter of your celebration, and after 20 years in the industry, I’ve made sure the delivery process is as smooth and 'no-fuss' as the photography itself.
From the first sneak peek to the permanent backup of your files, here is exactly what happens once I leave your wedding and head back to my studio in Urmston.
The Editing Process: Hand-Finished Quality
I don’t believe in automated filters or batch presets. Every single image you receive is individually hand-edited.
Whether it was a bright summer afternoon at The Monastery or a moody, atmospheric evening at Flixton House, I carefully adjust the exposure, colour, and tone of every frame to ensure a consistent, timeless look across your whole story. My goal is for your gallery to look as beautiful in 40 years as it does the day you receive it.
Timeline: When Do We See the Results?
- The Sneak Peek (2-3 Days): I know you’re dying to share a few shots on social media or send them to family while you're on your honeymoon. I’ll send a selection of 'best-of' highlights within a few days.
- The Full Gallery (4-8 Weeks): This is the polished, curated story of your day (usually 500+ images). The exact timing depends on the season, but I always prioritize quality over a rushed delivery.
Your Permanent Online Gallery
Gone are the days of worrying about losing a USB stick in a drawer. Your photos are delivered via a private, secure, and permanent online gallery.
- Share Instantly: You can send a link to family in Salford or friends in Sydney so they can relive the day with you.
- Unlimited Downloads: You have full rights to download your high-resolution images as many times as you like.
- No Expiry: I don’t believe in charging you 'hosting fees' to keep your memories online. Your gallery stays active permanently.
The "Safe Hands" Guarantee
As an ex-serviceman, I take the security of your data seriously. Your photos aren't just on one computer; they are backed up across multiple physical hard drives and secure cloud storage from the moment I get home.
If you lose your phone or your computer crashes five years from now, don't worry. Just send me an email. I keep a long-term archive of every wedding I shoot across Manchester and the North West, so your memories are always protected.
Beyond the Digital
While most couples love the convenience of digital delivery, there is still something special about a physical print. Your online gallery includes a built-in pro-lab store if you want to order museum-grade prints or frames, but there is never any pressure to do so. You are free to print them wherever you choose.
If you have any questions about the process or want to see a sample gallery, feel free to Get in Touch. I’m here to make sure your memories are preserved exactly how they felt.
